Juniors Actors Guild

Juniors Actors Guild Registration

Cherryfield Academy is hosting a 5-day summer camp for young actors and actresses. Members of this new “guild” will participate in a variety of drama related activities and will learn many of the components that are required in producing a successful production. Members must be entering grades 4 through 8 in the fall of 2017.

Corrie Hunkler and Caitlin Paul want to share their love for the stage with the area’s young aspiring thespians.

July 10th through July 14th will be spent rehearsing, blocking, costuming, designing sets, and generally enjoying the company of those with common interests in theatre.

8:30 am – 3:30 pm will be the daily hours of operation with a full production to take place Friday afternoon. Each “guild member” will need to bring their lunch, a water bottle, and a snack.

The cost for this week-long camp will consist of a $60 donation to the Cherryfield Academy Community Center. Space is limited so please sign up early.

Corrie, a Cherryfield resident, is the Guidance Counselor and head of after school Drama at Cherryfield School.

Caitlin, a Gardiner High School student with Downeast roots, brings an adult sized resume that includes most recently the lead role in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance at the Chocolate Church Arts Center in Bath, Maine.

Please send registration forms and checks made out to “Cherryfield Academy” to Cherryfield Academy, 54 Main St., Cherryfield, ME 04622
