44 Degrees North Restaurant and Pub will be the site for a Trivia Night on Tuesday, October 24th at 5:50 PM. The Women’s Health Resource Library will host the event titled, “Women, Wellness and a Wicked Good Time”. Admission is free; food and drink is on your own. Emcee for the evening will be Maeve Perry.
During a typical trivia night, a master of ceremonies reads trivia questions split up into different categories or rounds. The questions are then answered by different groups of people attending the event. These groups, also known as “teams” or “tables,” typically consist of at least four people. At the end of each round, a representative from each team turns in its answers to the judges who then calculate the scores for each team. The teams compete against one another with the top two or three teams receiving prizes.
Trivia nights have become popular nationwide as a way of engaging with others and showing off your smarts at the same time.
The WHRL-sponsored event at 44 North will quiz people with questions from a variety of fields, including contraception, breast health, heart health, sexual issues, osteoporosis and more. The questions are designed to test each person’s knowledge of the female body while having some fun with friends and neighbors.
Reservations are strongly suggested as space is limited. Call 546-4440 to make a reservation. Or for more information call the WHRL at 546-7677.
